Lauren is a senior commerce editor for Byrdie, where she covers skincare, haircare, makeup, fashion, and wellness. She’s always the first to know about top industry trends and innovative product releases, and when there is a huge sale happening, her advice on what’s worth buying is top-tier. Her latest obsessions are minimal ingredient beauty products, beauty tech, and K-beauty.
Lauren has nine years of industry experience writing, editing, and strategizing audience development, and her focus on beauty, fashion, and wellness has led her to collaborate with top industry experts and celebrities. Throughout her career, Lauren's become no stranger to photo or video shoots, as she often oversaw the editorial aspect of those verticals—these skills have led her to fashion weeks, press junkets, and product launches. Now, she oversees a talented group of staff and freelance writers for Byrdie's commerce team, where they create tested, expert, and research-driven product round-ups.
When Lauren isn't exploring new solutions to dark spots, brittle nails, and flat hair (her personal obsessions as of late), chances are she’s checking a city off her travel bucket list, trying out new recipes, vision-boarding ways to redecorate her home, or bookmarking the latest and greatest style trends. This New Englander turned Brooklynite is equally as happy exploring restaurants throughout the five boroughs, hiking around Connecticut, and beaching with her pup in Cape Cod, MA, too.
