Dominique Hobdy is a dynamic fashion and commerce editor with over 10 years of experience curating the best of the best in style and beauty. She’s currently a senior commerce editor for Byrdie, focusing on all things fashion. She’s also in the process of obtaining a styling certification.
Dominique is an expert at getting to know the likes, dislikes, and blind spots of her audience, which allows her to tailor her product recommendations to meet people where they are and help them get the most bang for their buck. She has a deep understanding of body types (with impossibly long legs and arms herself), current trends, the wardrobe staples you actually need, and how to help readers get the most out of their closets.
Dominique works alongside an amazing team of commerce editors and guides writers to create conversational, expert-backed, tested and research-driven commerce content. When she’s not busy creating a new personal “to buy” list she can be found in the heart of Brooklyn trying new recipes with her 6-year-old son, shaking her fist at the concept of "adulting" and dancing the night away with friends.
