Kaia Gerber's Milky Nails Are as Classic as Her Style

As evidenced by her red carpet-appearances, Instagram posts, and even runway appearances, Kaia Gerber has perfected chic yet interesting minimalism. The model and actor has aided in the return of the pointless skinny scarf, has mastered the subtle hair change, and has worn more minimalist manicures than we can count. Her latest red carpet mani only followed in her own footsteps with gorgeous milky nails.

On November 14, Gerber posed alongside her mom, Cindy Crawford, at a panel and cocktail event hosted by Omega. Though the two were basically twinning with their all-black ensembles, our eyes were focused on Kaia’s milky manicure that complimented her look perfectly.

She wore a full Alaïa ensemble featuring a skin-tight, sheer black turtleneck; a frayed hem pleated skirt; see-through black tights; matching pointed-toe heels; and a gold watch.

Her nails were smooth, silky, and simple. Short and natural-shaped, Gerber’s nails were painted with a sheer off-white color. Similar to an oat milk manicure and classic milky French, all of Kaia’s nails glistened with the same tan shade—which wasn’t as bright as an eggshell but also not as earthy as the color of sand. It was just the perfect cream shade that nearly looked like she wasn’t wearing any polish at all.

Her supermodel mother matched her vibes perfectly. Coordinating with her daughter in an all-black outfit, she opted for a loose-fitting plunging gown, black leather boots, and a reptile skin black clutch. Crawford finished her look off with a silver watch instead of gold. 

Of course, Gerber's hair and makeup were just as worthy of the red carpet as the rest of her look. Her hair was pulled into a French twist on the back of her head with a zig-zag effect in the back. Then, on the crown of her head was a bump, creating a princess-like silhouette that added dimension. Framing her makeup were two tendrils falling down to her chin with a loose wave. 

The makeup in between the strands was just as elegant as her nails and outfit. Her skin provided a dewy and glowy base with the lightest touch of blush for warmth. Gerber’s brows were dark, fluffy, and sculpted above her minimal eye makeup—dark fluttering lashes and an ultra-thin cat eye. The finishing touch was glossy pink lips and some freckles peeking through on her cheeks.
