In case you haven’t noticed, dark red nails have taken over the red carpet. Whether it is cherry mocha, black cherry, or a red wine shade; at every awards show since the new year, the biggest stars have been painting their fingertips red. At the Golden Globes, it was Emma Stone and Jennifer Aniston. At the Emmys, it was Ayo Edebiri and Selena Gomez. Now, most recently, at the People’s Choice Awards, Aniston continued the trend with an even moodier red polish.

On February 19, Aniston’s go-to nail artist, Shigeko Taylor, gave us an up-close look at the nails she created for the star for the red carpet—the same night Aniston took home the award for Drama TV Star for her work in The Morning Show.

As is the dominant trending shape and length for all the It Girls sporting this manicure, Aniston wore her dark red nails in a short, square silhouette. Then, Taylor painted on a “Blood Moon” shade.

The polish was a few shades darker than your typical cherry mocha—also, a tad bit darker than the nails Aniston wore to the Golden Globes a few weeks back. Instead of having undertones of cherry, this look had deeper brown undertones—in some lighting it nearly appeared a rich chocolate hue. Nonetheless, the entire mani was highly shiny and glossy, something that was noticeable even through the camera when Aniston accepted her award.

To go with the nails, Aniston kept the rest of the ensemble simple. She wore a classic strapless little black dress with a thigh-grazing length. The bottom of the dress had subtle ruffles that added a flowy feel. Then, a simple gold bracelet and matching necklace and earrings completed the look.

If you're dying to replicate her mani as soon as possible, you're in luck—Aniston’s nail artist shared exactly what she used for the look on Instagram.

Though Taylor didn’t specify how she prepped the nails, you'll want to start by cutting and filing your nails to the desired length and shape—short and square if you're going for an exact replica. After that, buff the surface for an even nail bed before applying the nail artist’s favorite base coat, Après Base Gelcoat X.

Then, you can go in with the color. Taylor said she only applied one singular layer of Après Gel Couler in the shade Blood Moon to each nail and then cured. After that, she sealed the whole nail look in with Après Non-Wipe Glossy Top Gelcoat, and Jen was ready to win.
